| | | First Up | Zombie Cells Get a Barcode | | Some of your cells quit dividing and then refuse to die. Scientists call them senescent. Everyone else calls them zombie cells. | Theyāre not harmless squatters. They sit there leaking signals that inflame and stiffen everything around them, and we all collect more of them as we get older. The trouble is that finding them means cutting tissue out, and the tests destroy the sample. | But now researchers at MIT and Mass General have taken the first step toward looking without destroying the sample, and AI is what pulled it off. A laser reads the chemical signals in a slice of mouse tissue. Those readings get matched against what the genes in those same cells are doing. An AI learns both at once until it can spot a zombie cell from the chemistry alone. | The researchers call it a barcode, except nothing gets stuck on the cell. The stripes were always there, the AI just learned to read them. | Our take: A doctor could read your tissue for signs of age-related disorders instead of guessing backward from symptoms. And the drug companies building compounds to wipe these cells out could finally prove whether they work. |

| | | Todayās Sponsor | The Agentic Era Needs a Different CRM | | A CRM is a filing cabinet by default. The noticing, the chasing, the follow-up that decides whether a deal survives, all of that still lands on a person. | Attio puts agents inside the CRM itself. | They watch every buying signal, build pipeline, and move deals forward, even while youāre away. | Parallel, Turbopuffer, and Wordsmith run their entire GTM motion on it. | The research is done before you sit down, and you come back to a pipeline that moved without you. | You keep the part that was always yours, the conversation where the deal is won. | |

| | | Next Up | Grok 4.7 Goes to Work | | xAI shipped Grok 4.7 today, and whatās new isnāt how it answers. Itās how long it keeps working. | The bigger base model trained longer on problems that take a long time to finish, and xAI says the result checks its own work more carefully instead of calling it done early. | Thatās the fix for the thing that makes long agent runs go sideways (the model decides itās finished, stops looking, and hands you something half-built). | It also learned the Grok Bot setup natively, which should make the agent side feel less bolted on. xAI says this one ships with its strongest safeguards so far. Itās live in Cursor, Grok Build, and the API. | Our take: Staying power is the harder problem. A model that finishes a two-hour job without drifting is worth more than one that gets the first answer faster. |

| | | In Focus | | Connect your workspace once through the new Pitch MCP, then create, find, and share on-brand decks just by asking. | Hand it your call notes and a CRM record, and a finished proposal comes back with a shareable link in the same chat. | Want more control? Feed a templateās variables with your data (customer name, dates, the problem they described) for precise output. | Pitch API brings the same power into Zapier, your CRMās workflow builder, and your own tools. | |

| Every house has one. A whiteboard by the door, a marker that died in 2024, a message from three weeks ago nobody has needed since. | Sticky give that board a brain. A magnetic panel that sticks to the fridge or the door, wherever the old one hung. Press the button, speak out loud, and it shows up on the screen. Notes, reminders, the clock, the weather. | It sits there being readable, which is the whole job of a fridge note. | |
